TN Gadsden Vehicle Tag for Friends of Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park

Just a few of the many accomplishments provided by the Friends of Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park

• Supports “Liberty! The Saga of Sycamore Shoals” – The official outdoor drama of the State of Tennessee.
• Restored an original Landon Carter portrait and created a custom display for the Park’s museum.
• Promoted the Park through ongoing advertising in both print and digital outlets.
• Completed a major renovation of the Park’s outdoor amphitheater, including updated lighting.
• Funded landscaping projects throughout the Park.
• Purchased equipment for the maintenance department.
• Installed a security system in the Park’s Visitor Center.
• Replaced the catwalk inside Fort Watauga.
• Sponsored Cherokee Heritage Day.
• Supported the Washington County Regiment of the North Carolina Militia at numerous events within the Park and throughout Northeast Tennessee and the Southeast.
• Contributed thousands of volunteer hours in support of the Park’s operations and programs.
